Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 1 February 2025
Applies to products and services supplied by MY TYRES LTD.

Please read these terms carefully before you place an order or use our mobile fitting and workshop services. They explain how we work, your responsibilities, and how we handle issues if something goes wrong.

1. Introduction and acceptance of terms

1.1 What these terms cover

These are the terms and conditions on which we, MY TYRES LTD, supply products to you as a consumer, whether these are goods, services, or both.

We may change these terms at any time by posting an updated version on our website. It is your responsibility to check the terms from time to time so that you stay aware of any changes that may affect you.

1.2 Why you should read them

Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order to us. These terms tell you who we are, how we will provide products to you, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem, and other important information.

If you believe there is a mistake in these terms, or you have any questions, contact us to discuss this before you place an order or confirm a booking.

2. Information about us and how to contact us

You can contact us by calling our customer service team on 07444 991602 or by emailing us at MYTYRESLTD@GMAIL.COM.

If we need to contact you, we will use the phone number, email address, or postal address that you supplied when you placed your order or made your booking.

3. Mobile services and your responsibilities

3.1 Access to your vehicle

You must be present with your vehicle at the address stated in your order at the agreed time. You must give our technicians free, safe, and prompt access to your vehicle so that we can bring the goods and carry out the services you requested.

If access is unsafe, blocked, or otherwise not suitable for our equipment or staff, we may refuse to carry out the work and treat the visit as a chargeable call out as set out in section 4.

4. Cancellations and additional charges

4.1 Cancellation by you and call out fees

If our technician attends your fitting appointment but we are unable to carry out the fitting for reasons that are not our fault, a call out fee of £40 will be charged.

This includes, but is not limited to, the following situations:

  • You are not present for the appointment at the agreed time and location.
  • You have ordered incorrect tyres, such as the wrong size, original equipment specification, tyre type, speed rating, or load rating.
  • The vehicle's locking wheel nut key is missing, damaged, or incorrect.
  • The vehicle's wheels are buckled, seized, or damaged in a way that prevents safe fitting.
  • The wheel nuts or bolts are over-tightened so that they cannot be removed without specialist tools or services.
  • There are mechanical issues with the vehicle, or any modification, that prevents the fitting from going ahead safely.

4.2 Additional charges

Extra charges may be incurred by you if our technicians face issues that require extra labour or specialist services. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Damaged, missing, or incorrect locking wheel nut keys.
  • Damaged, corroded, or heavily over-tightened wheel nuts or bolts.
  • Other mechanical problems that prevent a standard tyre fitting or removal.

4.3 Cancellation by us

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any order, or any part of an order, if the goods you ordered are no longer available for any reason.

We also reserve the right to cancel or reschedule if the service you requested is not available on the date or time you booked. In such cases we will contact you to offer a new time or refund any amounts paid for the goods or services we cannot supply.

We do not accept liability to pay compensation for any inconvenience, loss of earnings, or other costs that you may incur if your order is cancelled or rescheduled.

5. Locking wheel nut removals

If your vehicle's locking wheel nut key is missing or damaged at the time of the appointment, a locking wheel nut removal service may be offered at an extra cost. The price for this service will vary based on the type and condition of the locking bolt or nut.

Please be aware of the following points:

  • This service cannot be guaranteed to succeed in every case.
  • The service is less likely to succeed if wheel nuts or bolts are badly damaged, heavily over-tightened, corroded, broken, or seized.
  • During the removal process there is a risk of damage to the locking nut, wheel bolt, or the wheel itself.
  • We will not be held responsible for this type of damage where it arises from the condition of the existing locking nut or bolt.
  • You must have new replacement wheel nuts or bolts available at the time of the service so that the wheel can be refitted safely.

6. Our liability

6.1 Limitation of liability

Save as required by law, we will not be liable to you or any third party for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, damage, or expenses. This includes, without limitation, any loss of materials or data, interruption of service, or wasted expenditure that arises from your use of our website, our online service, our fitted services, or our goods, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.

Our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the goods or services in question. This limit applies regardless of the legal basis for the claim, whether in contract, tort, warranty, or any other legal theory.

6.2 Defects and personal belongings

We shall not be liable for any defect in the goods that arises from misuse, neglect, alteration, or improper fitting carried out by you or any third party, or from any incompatibility between the goods and your vehicle.

We are not responsible for missing personal items or belongings left in your vehicle. Please remove valuables and personal possessions from your vehicle before we start work.

6.3 Statutory rights

Even with the statements above, nothing in these terms and conditions affects any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these terms seeks to exclude or limit our liability to you for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
